AUTOBIOGRAPHY

I made my life dream a reality when at the age of 17 I accepted a year contract to work in California for a family of seven. During that year I also attended College of Marin and learned to master the English language I had learned growing up. Once my contract was over, I joined two other girls that had come from Peru as I had. While searching for a new future I met and married the father of my now grown children and they became my biggest accomplishment. Five years after my arrival I applied for and was granted citizenship of the United States and have been a resident of Marin County for the last 35 years and made lifetime friends. I also had an employment record of 20 years for Standard Brands Paint in San Rafael. While working there I attended College of Marin and pursued and attained my Associate of Arts degree. After Standard Brands went bankrupt I decided to find a more rewarding career and went to school to become a Certified Nurse Assistant since I had always enjoyed caring for people of all ages. I prefer non-competitive sports such as hiking, backpacking and camping, love music, reading and use The Kabbalah* as my Spiritual resource.
