Plot
Three famous western icons, Billy the Kid (Jack Buetel), Doc Holliday (Walter Houston), and Pat Garrett (Thomas Mitchell) interact in a sort of outlaws triangle. Billy steals Doc's horse, but they end up becoming friends. Pat and Doc were old friends, but Doc ends up hiding Billy at the home of Doc's girlfriend, Rios (Jayne Russell) while Billy tries to recover from a gunshot wound inflicted by Pat. Billy and Rios fall in love, but Billy mistreats her. Meanwhile, there's an Indian attack during which the four protagonists fight together against their common foe. In the end, there is a confrontation between the three men, which ends badly for one of them.
