| "Norbit" is the story of a painfully shy man, Norbit (Eddie Murphy), who has lived a life of fear. At an early age, he met a domineering girl and has been under her control ever since. The domineering girl is now his fiance, the hugely fat Rasputia (Eddie Murphy). Norbit's life of fear is interrupted, however, when he meets the perfect woman, Kate (Thandie Newton). Now Norbit must scheme a way to get out from under Rasputia's gigantic thumb so that he can finally find happiness with Kate. The film features elaborate makeup effects for Eddie Murphy in his various roles, including Norbit, Rasputia, and the asian Mr. Wong. |
