| Boomerang is a movie about a player getting a taste of his own medicine. Marcus Graham (Eddie Murphy) is an ad executive. He has three interests in life-his job, hanging out with his buddies Gerard (David Alan Grier) and Tyler (Martin Lawrence), and loving and leaving beautiful women. Fate has him meet two women. One is Jacqueline (Robin Givens), his new boss and a player herself. The other is Angela (Halle Berry), a straightforward girl wanting a relationship. The movie follow Marcus' involvement with both women, especially his reactions to Jacqueline who is a female equivalent of himself. She turns the tables on him and treats hims like he has treated women in the past. The movie follows Marcus as he interacts with the women, his clients, and his buddies while he decides what and who he really wants. |
