| Lt. Parker Barnes (Denzel Washington) is a former cop who is imprisoned for killing the serial killer who murdered his family. He is taking part of a virtual reality project where law enforcement officials fight virtual criminals, the worst being SID 6.7 (Russell Crowe). SID has been programmed with the traits of every known serial killer, mass murder, and criminal mastermind. SID convinces a laboratory tech to make him a silicone-based body in the real world. Now, the worst criminal in the world is lose in the world. It is up to Barnes, with the help of scientist Madison Carter (Kelly Lynch), to stop him. |
