In "Stranded", David Robinson (Liam Cunningham) is being sent to a penal colony. He is given permission to bring his family along with him. After a major storm, the family is trapped below the deck of the ship. The only one who is not is David's son Jacob. Jacob is then rescued and raised by a group of pirates. When the family finally emerges from the shipwreck, they must learn to live on the land. Meanwhile, the pirates have taken hostage the daughter of a sea captain. This leads Jacob to battle with the pirates and sets up the scene for Jacob to possibly be reunited with his family.
